Overview

Jacob Bloom, Esq. joined Miller and Caggiano, LLP in 2023.

Mr. Bloom graduated from Marist College in 2019, where he received a bachelor’s degree in political science and was a member of the Division 1 Lacrosse team. While at Marist, Mr. Bloom was an active member of the Marist College Campus Ministry Program. He then attended the Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University, where he graduated in 2022. While at Hofstra, Mr. Bloom was awarded the Wallach Family Endowed Scholarship and the best advocate of the 2021, Maurice A. Deane School of Law, Dispute Resolution Competition.

Mr. Bloom passed the Universal Bar Examination in July of 2022 and was admitted to Practice in the State of New York in July of 2023.

Prior to joining Miller & Caggiano, LLP, Mr. Bloom served as an Assistant District Attorney with the Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office where he was assigned to the District Court Bureau. There, he gained significant litigation experience prosecuting a variety of misdemeanors, which included larceny, driving while intoxicated, and assault.

Mr. Bloom’s experience enables him to be an advocate and ally of the injured worker. Mr. Bloom is a member of the New York State and Nassau County Bar Association.
