PAPAS is experienced in all areas of elder law, which include home care and nursing home Medicaid, estate planning, asset protection, tax planning, estate and trust administration, estate and trust accountings, estate and trust litigation, real estate and business formation. Mr. Papas has successfully litigated matters in both Supreme and Surrogate’s Courts in New York City and Long Island involving contested wills, trust contests, deed fraud, real estate matters, kinship hearings, accountings and guardianships.

Mr. Papas was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. He attended Ursinus College, in Pennsylvania where he majored in Psychology and Spanish with Magna Cum Laude honors.

He then attended and graduated from St. John’s University Law School, in Queens, New York. While attending St. John’s Law School he received numerous honors.

Mr. Papas is a member of the New York State Bar Association. He is conversant in Greek and an accomplished collegiate wrestler and martial artist. Mr. Papas still resides in Brooklyn.
