Overview
Kenneth Renov is a Partner at Korsinsky & Klein, LLP. Kenneth’s main areas of focus are estate and succession planning, asset protection planning, estate tax planning, long-term care Medicaid planning, and tax and charitable planning primarily through the use of sophisticated trusts and alternative business entities.
Kenneth guides each client through the full process of life and estate planning. Planning begins with surveying each client’s family dynamics, assets, and business and investment interests, along with the client’s comfort levels for varying levels of planning. Kenneth will then work with each client to design a plan that achieves their specific goals. Beyond crafting the new documents and entities, Kenneth helps each client restructure their assets and interests to accord with their new estate plan. Kenneth prides himself on helping each client gain a simple and practical understanding of how to best utilize and maximize the benefits of their new plan.
Kenneth also works closely with Insurance Brokers, Accountants, Financial Planners, and other professionals to help provide value for their own clients. He works with Family Offices to do planning for multiple members of the family directly, or to represent the Family Office members to manage the plan they are creating with larger law firms.
Kenneth is admitted to practice law in New York and New Jersey. He earned his Juris Doctor degree with a triple concentration in Taxation, Corporate Law, and Family and Matrimonial Law from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law in New York City. While a student at Cardozo, Kenneth was a participant in the Cardozo Mediation Clinic.
In his personal life Kenneth enjoys spending time with his wife and children and he is an avid snowboarder and soccer fan.

How do I choose a lawyer?
Consider the following:
- Comfort Level – Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?
- Credentials – How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?
- Cost – How are the lawyer's fees structured — hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?
- City – Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?
Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?
Here are a few to get you started:
- How long have you been in practice?
- How many cases like mine have you handled?
- How often do you settle cases out of court?
- What are your fees and costs?
- What are the next steps?
Want to check lawyer discipline?
It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:
- Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
- Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
- Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
