Overview
Graduated law school with honors. Began at the legal Aid Society in 1984. Within 3 years was promoted to major offense attorney handling the most serious cases in Brooklyn. Entered private practice in 1991. Was among the first attorneys in New York to be certified to handle death penalty cases. Obtained the first acquittal in a death eligible case in Staten Island in 1997. Have gotten acquittals in all five boroughs of New York City as well as in the federal courts and New Jersey. Have gotten not guilty verdicts in 100 kilo drug case and two separate double homicide cases. I have been named to Super Lawyers five years in a row now and have an AV rating from Martindale Hubbell. Have appeared as an analyst with CNN, MSNBC, NBC, FOX.
