Daniel R. Archilla is a 1985 graduate of the State University of New York at Buffalo cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree in History and a minor in Political Science. He then attended the State University of New York’s Law School and obtained his Juris Doctor in 1988.
Mr. Archilla is admitted to practice in the United State Supreme Court, the United States District Court for the Western District of New York, the Northern District of New York, and the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Western District of New York in addition to all the Courts of the State of New York.
After a short stint in a general practice emphasizing plaintiff’s personal injury work, Mr. Archilla has worked for various Western New York law firms representing numerous insurance carrier client’s, was Staff Counsel for Allstate Insurance Company and opened and managed GEICO’s Staff Counsel office in Western New York for over 20 years. His practice now includes all aspects insurance defense, including automobile defense, personal injury defense, and insurance coverage work.
He is a member of the New York State Bar Association, the Erie County Bar Association, the New York State Academy of Trial Lawyers, and the Defense Trial Lawyers Association of Western New York where he was honored with the Neil R. Sherwood Civility Award.
