Overview

David earned his law degree from the University of Akron School of Law in 1998 and was admitted to the New York Bar in 1999. For over two decades, he has been deeply involved in various facets of real estate. Throughout the 2000s, David represented both buyers and sellers in residential real estate transactions. Into the early 2010s, he also represented lenders in bankruptcy courts across the Northern, Western, Eastern, and Southern Districts of New York.

More recently, David was a Director in the Compliance Department at Evergreen Health. There, he developed data privacy and security training programs for the organization, audited compliance with state and federal data privacy and security laws, and managed and reviewed vendor contracts.

Beyond his professional life, David has contributed his time as a pro bono attorney for the Volunteer Lawyers Project, assisting low-income individuals through bankruptcy proceedings. He has also been actively involved in the arts community, serving on the Board of Directors for Buffalo’s first gay chorus, The City of Good Neighbors Chorale, and as a former member of the Buffalo Gay Men’s Chorus. Additionally, David has performed in numerous local theater productions with Buffalo United Artists, Alleyway Theater, and, most recently, with O’Connell and Company in The Golden Girls.
