Overview
Scott M. Covino, Esq. joined the firm in 2022. Mr. Covino earned his law degree, graduating cum laude, from the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Law. Additionally, he holds a joint bachelor’s degree in political science and economics, magna cum laude, from SUNY Buffalo.
While attending law school, Mr. Covino worked at a general practice law firm in Buffalo. He also completed internships with the Honorable John L. Sinatra, Jr., U.S. District Judge in the Western District of New York, and with the office of New York State Senator Sean Ryan. He was the Editor-in-Chief of the Buffalo Human Rights Law Review and a member of the Buffalo Law Review.
Mr. Covino began working at Brown Chiari LLP as a law clerk in 2022 and accepted an attorney position upon his admission to the bar. Mr. Covino immediately began obtaining trial experience at Brown Chiari. Scott was intimately involved with an extensive and complicated trial that culminated with a victorious $100 million dollar jury verdict. His current practice focuses on all areas of personal injury law, including nursing home abuse and neglect, medical malpractice, motor vehicle accidents and premises liability matters.
Mr. Covino is a member of the Erie County Bar Association and the New York State Trial Lawyers Association. Mr. Covino is committed to the vigorous representation of his clients in all aspects of their personal injury matters.
