Overview
Joseph Dell, the firm's Managing Member and President, is regarded as one of New York's top trial lawyers and a zealous advocate of those injured through the negligence of others.
Having started the firm with the singular goal of leveling the playing field for those injured, Mr. Dell has worked tirelessly for his clients since its inception over two (2) decades ago.
In addition to managing the firm and trying cases, he is a frequent lecturer at law school and Bar Associations on cases of significant importance in the negligence field. In particular, the law-changing win in Davis v. South Nassau Communities Hospital is just one of the many cases and topics he speaks about.
He has been recognized for his career of accomplishment with his induction into the New York Metro Area Super Lawyers; Top 10 Personal Injury Lawyers in New York; Best of Long Island; Top Verdict and Settlement List for New York; The Nation's Top One Percent as well as the Top 100 Litigation Lawyers in the State of New York.
Currently, Mr. Dell serves on the Board of Governors of Touro College - Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center. He is a prior member of the Board of Directors of the New York State Trial Lawyers Association and remains as an active committee member. He is a member of the New York State Academy of Trial Lawyers. He is a Member of the American Association for Justice, and the Southern Poverty Law Center. He is also a sustaining member of the Nassau County Bar Association.
Mr. Dell graduated from St. John's University's College of Business Administration Cum Laude in 1988. He then attended and graduated from St. John's University School of Law in 1991.
Admitted to the New York State Bar in 1992 as well as the Federal District Courts for both the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York.
He has successfully argued Davis v. South Nassau Communities Hospital in 2015 before the New York Court of Appeals, forever changing the medical malpractice landscape in New York.
Over the past twenty-five (25) years, he has recovered by both verdicts and settlements totaling hundreds of millions of dollars for injured plaintiffs and their families.
His proudest recognition is the loyalty and love he receives from his clients and their families. These relationships have grown out of his dedication, respect and concern for each client of his firm.
