Overview
Joseph Sise is a graduate of Siena College and Albany Law School (1988). He started his legal career as an inner-city prosecutor serving as an Assistant District Attorney in The Bronx, New York City. He continued as a prosecutor in upstate New York in Montgomery and Fulton Counties. In 1995, he was successfully elected as Montgomery County Court Judge, becoming one of the youngest County Judges in the State. In 1998, at age 35, he was elected to the Supreme Court serving as a Supreme Court Judge for 20 years. In 2019, he retired from the bench and joined Robert Abdella to form the Abdella and Sise Law firm.
Joe is an experienced trial lawyer who has extensive experience in every role an attorney can have in a courtroom, a prosecutor, judge, and now a plaintiff’s attorney and criminal defense attorney. Joe brings a passion to representing his clients in court. His representation of his clients is marked by tenacity, diligence, and a true caring for the welfare of his clients to ensure that they receive the very best of results. Joe is a member of the New York Bar Association, Montgomery Bar Association serving as a past president, the Fulton County Bar Association, and the New York State Supreme Court Judge’s Association, serving as its president in 2010.
