Overview
Jenna completed her undergraduate degree at Siena College in Loudonville, NY in 2009 where she received Dean's list honors and graduated Magna Cum Laude. At graduation, she was inducted into the Alpha Kappa Alpha honor society, Siena's highest award granted to those of outstanding academic excellence, character, and commitment to community service.
Since her graduation at Siena, Jenna has worked for various reputable law firms specializing in Social Security disability benefits, handling all aspects of the claim process from initial intake to the hearing level before Administrative Law Judges. In doing so, she assists in the preparation and filing of all Social Security correspondence, including legal memoranda, written contentions, and even processing of claim filings in District Court. She also took and passed the Social Security Administration's written test of knowledge on relevant provisions of the Social Security Act in 2013 which has since allowed her to assist in the representation of individuals applying for disability benefits in court before Administrative Law Judges. She also has been involved in the handling of claims for Veteran's Disability Benefits.
Jenna subsequently attended Touro College Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center on a part-time basis while being employed full-time. There she was a member of Touro Law Review's editorial board and had the honor of publishing an article regarding the Fourth Amendment implications of cell-site simulators. She graduated Summa Cum Laude and as salutatorian of the part-time program, and received numerous CALI Awards for academic excellence in Contracts I, Legal Process I, Legal Process II--Best Oral Advocate, Legal Process II --Best Brief, Law & Medicine Seminar, Advanced Legal Research, Property, Criminal Procedure, Evidence, Human Trafficking, New York Practice, American Legal Studies, and American Legal Studies Practicum. She was also a Fay and Saul Starr Fellowship Recipient in 2017, an award given to students ranked in the top 5% of the class at the beginning of their second-year.
Jenna joined Klee, Woolf, Goldman & Filpi in 2016 and continues to use her experience and passion representing injured workers with longstanding disabilities receive the benefits that they are entitled to.
