Overview
Steven joined Klee Woolf Goldman & Filpi, LLP in October of 2013. He completed his undergraduate degree at Touro College where he graduated magna cum laude and received Dean's List honors. Steven spent two years studying Talmudic Law in Jerusalem and returned to earn his Juris Doctor degree from Hofstra University School of Law in 2008. He was sworn in as a member of the New York State Bar in January 2009.
Prior to joining Klee Woolf Goldman & Filpi, LLP, Steven worked on the defense side of the table as an Assistant Corporation Counsel representing the City of New York and then private insurance companies and self insured employers in Workers' Compensation claims. In 2013, upon joining Klee Woolf Goldman & Filpi, LLP, Steven now uses his vast experience to represent injured workers. He handles all aspects of Workers' Compensation cases including hearings, trials, depositions, and settlements. Steven is also involved in community charities and is a board member of Avigdor's Helping Hand where he assists individuals who have recently lost their bread-winning spouse.
