Attorney Information

Overview

Daniel I. Neveloff is a New York trial lawyer with nearly 30 years of high stakes litigation experience who consistently delivers on cases other firms deem unwinnable.

In 2025, as part of a trial team, they helped secure a $12 million jury verdict for rape and intentional infliction of emotional distress, as well as a separate $2.5 million verdict for intentional infliction of emotional distress against another defendant in Westchester County Supreme Court, with a punitive damages phase still to come. There was no offer before or during trial. Previously, he obtained an $8 million civil-rights verdict against the City of New York on behalf of a public school teacher after the City’s highest offer was only $150,000. On another matter, he converted a case rejected by five prior lawyers into a $225,000 settlement.

A lifelong New Yorker, Daniel connects instinctively with the city’s diverse clients and juries. His extensive world travel — hiking to Machu Picchu, hot-air ballooning over Cappadocia, and paragliding above Rio de Janeiro, has deepened his appreciation for both cultural differences and universal human experience. That same curiosity and empathy inform every phase of his advocacy.

An avid guitarist, Daniel has performed in New York bands and with Rockin’1000, the biggest rock band on earth, in stadiums in Paris, Florence, Milan, and Madrid. In 2025, Daniel had the honor of performing with Andra Day and Michelle Williams at the United Nations.

Repeatedly selected to New York Super Lawyers (top 5% of attorneys in the state), Daniel’s cases have been featured in the New York Daily News, New York Post, New York Law Journal, WPIX, and WCBS News, and has served as a judge for Yale University’s national mock trial competition.
