Overview
Mr. Mantel's practice is focused on commercial real estate transactions including acquisitions/sales, financing, leasing, joint venture agreements and the development of real estate sites. Mr. Mantel began his practice at Amrep Corporation where he developed an expertise in the development and sale of subdivided land and condominiums including the preparation and filing of prospectuses with the applicable federal and state authorities. He subsequently was a partner at the law firms of Delson and Gordon, Dreyer and Traub and Alter Mantel, LLP where his practice was concentrated on commercial real estate matters. Mr. Mantel counsels clients on acquisition of sites, joint venture agreements, architect and construction contracts, construction and permanent financing and leasing. He has also represented lenders in connection with permanent and mezzanine loans. Mr. Mantel graduated cum laude from Yeshiva University in 1967 and New York University School of Law in 1970. Mr. Mantel is admitted to practice in the state of New York.
