Nicholas Marricco is an attorney with Tully Rinckey PLLC’s Manhattan Office, where he focuses his practice on employment law, education law, and New York State civil litigation.
Prior to joining Tully Rinckey, Nicholas was an Assistant District Attorney where he prosecuted misdemeanor crimes; was an attorney in a non-profit where he represented parents of children with special needs in Special Education Law cases against school districts, and was an attorney in a boutique law firm where he represented plaintiffs and defendants.
Nicholas is an experienced litigator. He has practiced before the Bronx County Criminal Court, Bronx County Supreme Court, Kings County Supreme Court, Kings County housing Court, New York County Supreme Court, Suffolk County Supreme Court, Nassau County Supreme Court, Westchester County Supreme Court, the United States District Court for the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York, New York County Small Claims Court, the Equal Opportunity Commission, the New York State Division of Human Rights, the New York State Workers Compensation Board, New York State Special Education Impartial Hearings, and New York State Special Education State Review Officers. Nicholas has also represented countless families of children with special needs in CSE meetings, CPSE meetings, manifestation determinations, and Impartial Hearings.
Nicholas graduated cum laude from Albany Law School. In which, Nicholas was an article editor for the Albany Government Law Review, President of the Italian American Bar Association, Vice President of Phi Alpha Delta, and was an award receiving participant of his school’s moot court and mock trial program. Before law school, Nicholas graduated cum laude from the State University of New York at Albany, where he majored in European History. In which, Nicholas was involved in his school’s Model European Union and lead a conference of over 200 American and European students to a conference in Brussels, Belgium, was an active member of his Student Government, and was selected to speak at his college graduation ceremony.
Nicholas is a life long Bronx resident, and is one of the small group of New York State Special Education Attorneys who had an IEP and received special education services as a child . Nicholas’ parents fought for his education as a child and now he zealously advocates for all his clients like his parents did for him.
In his free time, Nicholas enjoys spending time with his family and dog, Millie, attending mass, watching basketball, and collecting retro video games.
