Overview
At Paykin Law, our New York office serves clients who require vigorous representation in the heart of New York’s legal and commercial center. We handle litigation and transactional matters across a broad range of practices, including commercial litigation and transactions, real estate litigation and transactions, landlord and tenant representation, co-op and condo matters, foreclosure and foreclosure defense, wills, trusts and estates, bankruptcy and immigration.
We bring the resources, legal acumen and tenacity necessary to pursue favorable outcomes in matters of any complexity or monetary value. We position each case proactively for litigation, attentive to both immediate needs and longer-term strategy.
Our team is experienced in litigating in New York State courts and in navigating appeals to the Appellate Division, First Department and Second Department. We also conduct litigation and bankruptcy matters in the United States District Courts and Bankruptcy Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York, and we pursue appeals to the U.S. District Court for the 2nd Circuit where warranted.
In addition to traditional court forums, we represent clients in arbitration before the American Arbitration Association and in select international commercial forums – including disputes in the AIFC Court in Kazakhstan – when business needs require cross-border solutions. Whether negotiating a complex commercial deal, defending against creditor actions, pursuing a property dispute, or guiding families through estate matters, we tailor our approach to the client’s objectives and the demands of the forum.
Our Manhattan office is equipped to manage high-stakes matters while maintaining clear communication and practical guidance. We keep clients informed of options, risks and likely timelines so they can make confident decisions about settlement, trial, or appeal.
