Overview
Sara takes pride in being a first-generation college graduate, where she earned her degree in Political Science with a concentration in Pre-law and a minor in writing at Stockton University. During her undergraduate studies, Sara participated in her school's Washington D.C. Internship Program, interning with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. During her internship, Sara learned extensively about the federal statutes governing employment discrimination claims.
After her graduation from Stockton, Sara attended Rutgers Law School and received her Juris Doctorate in 2022. Throughout law school, Sara sought and received summer internships in employment discrimination, notably finding her way back to the EEOC by clerking for the Honorable Iris Santiago-Flores in 2021. Sara was also a member of Rutgers' Employment and Labor Law Association and served as President of the association from 2021 until graduation. Following her graduation from law school, Sara was selected for a fellowship with Rutgers Law Associates, which operates as a general practice law firm. There, Sara gained experience in a variety of law, including, but not limited to, family law, criminal law, domestic violence, wills and estates, and landlord/tenant. Notably, during her fellowship, Sara had the unique opportunity to successfully try an international child abduction case under the Hauge Convention.
Sara has always shown passion and compassion in assisting the most vulnerable, utilizing her empathy to fearlessly advocate on her client's behalf. Sara has gained extensive knowledge pertaining to the claims of an employee who has been discriminated against in the workplace and applies her expertise to accomplish the goals of her representation, while also being sympathetic to the uncertainties clients face every day as a result of unlawful discrimination. It is Sara's firm belief that every person deserves to work in an environment free from hindering discrimination and will continue to further that belief by valiantly representing her clients.
