Overview
Steven Gildin has been a practicing attorney in New York for nearly 30 years, during which he has handled a tremendous volume of intricate cases. Although amassing vast experience in nearly all areas of the law, Steven has had a particular emphasis on Family Law. In fact, Steven has successfully helped thousands of people get through their most difficult times of divorce, custody, visitation, child and spousal support, financial and property issues and domestic violence. Steven also very regularly handles special education issues and criminal defense matters.
Many of the cases Steven has handled have garnered much media attention on the International, National and Local levels. Steven’s cases have been featured on throughout the media – The Today Show, CNN, MSNBC, New Yorker Magazine, New York Times, NY Post, NY Daily News, Newsday, Howard Stern, Court TV, ESPN, New York Law Journal and on all New York Television and Radio News outlets.
Steven is also an accomplished author, having been published several times in a national magazine on both legal and non-legal matters.
Steven also founded and leads a resource support network for Family Law Attorneys. Constantly studying the law and referred to as the “Oracle” by his peers, Steven is indeed Counsel to the Profession.
Perhaps most of all, Steven is incredibly accessible – a truly unique attribute. Steven knows that a person facing a legal crisis is not merely in need of support and assistance on weekdays during business hours. Therefore, he offers his own, personal cell phone for all to use at any time, every day.
