Over ten years of service, he held various roles and achieved the rank of Operations Specialist 1st Class. He served in Baghdad, Iraq, and Bahrain, earning accolades such as the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal, the Army Commendation Medal, and numerous personal and campaign medals.
After his military service, Matthew pursued his passion for history, earning a bachelor’s degree from Syracuse University. He then pursued his Juris Doctorate at Albany Law School and entered the practice of law.
Matthew is currently licensed to practice in New York State and the Northern District of New York. He is also a member of the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, the United States Conceal Carry Association General Attorney Network, the Northern District of New York Federal Court Bar Association, the New York State Academy of Trial Lawyers, and the Oneida County Bar Association.
