Overview
Patricia is an experienced sexual abuse attorney, representing both adults and children who have been subjected to sexual abuse, sexual assault, trafficking and other misconduct - whether it occurs in the workplace, at university, by a trusted person in a position of authority, or in circumstances involving institutional harm. Patricia is skilled in walking her clients through the legal process as victims of these serious offenses. She works to achieve accountability and justice for the harms endured by her survivor clients, supporting them to stand up for themselves as they heal from the trauma of their experience. Patricia also litigates orders of protection in Family Court.
Patricia has extensive experience in employment dicrimination law, litigating and settling serious sexual harassment, disability, and race-based discrimination cases.
As a civil rights attorney and advocate, Patricia has offered her services pro bono on behalf of immigrants in U.S. border cities. She has volunteered as a leader for national women's rights organizations, and has marched with activists and lobbied Congress seeking progress for causes such as heatlh care, racial justice, and immigration.
