Stefanie Lynn DeMario-Germershausen, partner at Angiuli & Gentile, LLP, has over 13 years of experience and leads the firm’s Estates, Trusts, Real Estate and Medicaid Departments. Her areas of concentration include probate and administration of estates, estate litigation and both 17A and Article 81 guardianship proceedings.
Additional areas of concentration for Ms. DeMario-Germershausen include estate planning and special needs planning along with assisting clients in obtaining Veteran’s benefits.
Ms. DeMario-Germershausen prides herself on helping clients achieve Medicaid eligibility, having handled complex community and institutional Medicaid cases and Fair Hearings. Her expertise with both the Medicaid rules and regulations makes her a go to attorney for both emergency and structured Medicaid planning.
Within the Real Estate Department Ms. DeMario-Germershausen guides clients as she helps them navigate sale and purchase transactions. She and her team understand that for many clients the sale of their family home or the purchase of their forever home are some of the most pivotal moments in their lives. Ms. DeMario-Germershausen received her Juris Doctor (J.D.) in 2011 from New York Law School and is admitted to the New York State Bar, the New Jersey Bar and the United States District Court of New Jersey. As a St. John’s University alumna, she earned her Bachelor of Science degree while serving as the President of the University’s Moot Court Association and maintaining Dean’s List status.
Ms. DeMario-Germershausen is a current board member of the Staten Island Chamber of Commerce. She has served as the co-chair of the Staten Island Chamber of Commerce’s Young Professionals Group as well as the Secretary of the Chamber’s Business Guild III.
