A long-time resident of the Albany NY, Capital District Region, Meghan Rielly Keenholts earned the distinction of becoming the first female attorney hired by the firm since its founding in 1898 when she became an associate attorney in 2003.

Now a Partner of the prestigious Hacker Murphy, LLP in Troy, New York, Ms. Keenholts focuses her energy and expertise on the legal practice of representing individuals who have been seriously injured.

Ms. Keenholts graduated summa cum laude from Albany Law School in May 2005. While at Albany Law School, she served as an Executive Editor of the Albany Law Review and as a Dean Thomas Sponsler Teaching Fellow. Ms. Keenholts graduated summa cum laude from Bucknell University in May 1999, where she double-majored in English and Political Science. She has also studied in London and Washington, D.C. Ms. Keenholts is a member of the Phi Beta Kappa and Justinian Honor Societies. She is also a 2012 graduate of the Rensselaer County Chamber of Commerce's Leadership Institute, a skills-based professional development program.

Prior to graduating from Law School, Ms. Keenholts worked as a law clerk for E. Stewart Jones. Prior to attending law school, Ms. Keenholts worked as an account executive for Sawchuk, Brown Associates, a public relations firm in Albany, and as a project assistant for Policy Research Associates in Delmar.
