Consulted Law firm 2020-2021Pro Bono.. in other words for the "public good" let me say this again slowly...the PUBLIC GOOD...I hope you heard me..now my lawyer took on my case a for a long time now by his own doing he said no charge this is pro bono ..what did I say he said..for my good..since I'm a part of the public right? Well let me just say Danny uses cases like mine to sabatoge low income, abused by the system black people like me. I called him to get information on my case since he has made no attempt to reach out to me or respond to me, he went on to intimidate me with screams and racial slurs and that his intention was to put me a way with the D.A...while reminding me that my life as a black person is no good and I'm a waste..this reminded me of why as a black man I've lost confidence in this system and feels like its is system to target the young black people in this country. To hear this man screaming at me and telling me he is not helping my case but rather working against me after placing my trust in him is like a stab in my heart , it's an emotional death I'm facing right now. For me to put in here is nothing compared to abuse I endured over the phone from my lawyer. To hear someone who is to be working for your good refer to you as a waste. Man this is the worse from of abuse young black people go through when trying to be better in a country that does not see them as human beings.

How do I choose a lawyer?
Consider the following:
- Comfort Level – Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?
- Credentials – How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?
- Cost – How are the lawyer's fees structured — hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?
- City – Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?
Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?
Here are a few to get you started:
- How long have you been in practice?
- How many cases like mine have you handled?
- How often do you settle cases out of court?
- What are your fees and costs?
- What are the next steps?
Want to check lawyer discipline?
It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:
- Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
- Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
- Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
