Phillips & Associates is an employment-only litigation firm that represents employees and has never represented employers. Since its founding in November 2011, the firm has focused entirely on workplace cases, including sexual harassment, workplace relationship harassment, discrimination, retaliation, hostile work environment, whistleblower retaliation, wrongful termination, pregnancy discrimination, medical and parental leave, accommodations, and wage-and-hour matters.
A core part of the practice involves workplace power dynamics, meaning misconduct by supervisors, executives, business owners, physicians, law firm partners, and managers who control pay, advancement, and continued employment. That work includes unwanted advances, pressure to meet alone, favoritism tied to a relationship with a superior, and retaliation after an employee rejects an advance or ends a relationship.
Every client is assigned a litigation team led by a partner or senior litigator. The firm has recovered more than $360 million for employees, handled more than 9,500 matters, and litigated approximately 2,000 cases, appearing before more than 110 U.S. District Judges and more than 70 U.S. Magistrate Judges.
