Overview
Ms. Lyons is a partner at Enea, Scanlan & Sirignano, LLP, where she concentrates her practice on elder law with a focus on Medicaid applications (nursing home and home care), Medicaid planning, estate planning, and guardianships.
Recognized as a Rising Star for the past five years in the New York Metro edition of Super Lawyers, Ms. Lyons is actively involved in leadership roles within the elder law community. She is a member of the New York State Bar Association’s Elder Law and Special Needs Section, where she serves as Co-Chair of its Medicaid Committee. Ms. Lyons is also a member of the Westchester County Bar Association, participating as a Co-Mentor, and serves as Sponsorship Chair for the Senior Law Day Collaborative in Westchester County. In addition, she is a member of the Friends of Gail Advisory Board of the Pace Woman’s Justice Center.
Ms. Lyons received a B.S. in Criminal Justice from Pace University and a J.D. from the Pace University School of Law. She is admitted to practice in New York and New Jersey.

It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:
- Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
- Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
- Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
