Consulted Attorney 2022-2024Jill stone was opposing counsel in my case, she told me ex to " flee the state, establish yourself as quickly as possibly to prevent the likelihood of return to new york. This woman cares nothing about children, exspecially when she gets help from judge porter and alexandra hennessey lol. She lost the case, but unfortunately we had alexandra hennessey fausifiling information while benefiting monetarily based off those falsification. That's a class A misdemeanor In new york state. I find it curious to wonder how many children jill has relocated based off her strategics. Exspecially with individuals that couldn't blow 200k. Jill stone should be under a federal Investigation, even the attorney General should check into these strategics,

Hired Attorney 2021-2022From the first time I spoke to Stone Studin Young & Nigro Law Group, I knew I had the best team for my child custody battle ahead. Jill Stone was simply phenomenal from start to finish. I could not have had a more motivating and well versed lawyer by my side for the most stressful time in my life! The whole legal team was responsive, professional and empathic throughout all my court needs. Highly Recommended!!

How do I choose a lawyer?
Consider the following:
- Comfort Level – Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?
- Credentials – How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?
- Cost – How are the lawyer's fees structured — hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?
- City – Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?
Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?
Here are a few to get you started:
- How long have you been in practice?
- How many cases like mine have you handled?
- How often do you settle cases out of court?
- What are your fees and costs?
- What are the next steps?
Want to check lawyer discipline?
It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:
- Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
- Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
- Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
