Hired Law firm 2021-2023Dan Pagano was extremely professional, knowledgeable, and understands the importance of his clients. He handled my very difficult support agreement with positive results for my kids and myself. He was great in the court room and fought for me. Highly recommend!

Hired Law firm 2021Great lawyer very knowledgeable and very supportive and direct. He gets the job done. He was able to win custody after trial against my wife.
-
Hired Law firm 2018-2021THE ABSOLUTE WORST LAWYER EVER! he does not listen to what you say. Never accepts your evidence. Wont tell you about your court dates until a day before. Will berate you as if your case is YOUR FAULT. wont fight for whats best for you. Avoid this man at all costs or it may cost you.

Hired Law firm 2021Do not waste your time, money or energy on this man. He will not answer or return your phone calls or emails. He also won't inform you of your next court date until it's less than 17 hours for your appearance. He is both rude and a liar. He's just another lawyer who has zero care or concern for his client. Truly disappointing.

How do I choose a lawyer?
Consider the following:
- Comfort Level – Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?
- Credentials – How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?
- Cost – How are the lawyer's fees structured — hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?
- City – Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?
Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?
Here are a few to get you started:
- How long have you been in practice?
- How many cases like mine have you handled?
- How often do you settle cases out of court?
- What are your fees and costs?
- What are the next steps?
Want to check lawyer discipline?
It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:
- Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
- Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
- Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
