Attorney Information

Overview

Dedicated Family Law & Estate Planning Attorney

With a passion for helping families through life's most challenging transitions, I bring nearly a decade of diverse legal experience to serve my clients with compassion, skill, and dedication. As the daughter of a U.S. Army Soldier and the eldest of four siblings, I grew up moving every three years across the United States and abroad, giving me a unique perspective on family dynamics and the challenges of transitions.

Education

I earned my Juris Doctor from Campbell University School of Law in 2017, where I honed my advocacy skills through Moot Court, the Kilpatrick Mock Trial Competition, and as a Negotiation Competitor. My foundation in creative thinking began with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Creative Writing from the University of North Carolina Wilmington.

Professional Experience

After being licensed to practice law in North Carolina in 2017, I began my career at King Law Offices, PLLC, where I quickly advanced to Junior Partner. There, I developed a diverse practice handling estate planning, family law, civil matters, and criminal defense throughout western North Carolina.

In April 2021, I joined Bull & Reinhardt, PLLC, focusing my practice on family law, estate planning, and estate administration, helping clients navigate complex personal and financial transitions with clarity and compassion.

From June 2023 to March 2025, I served at the Cumberland County District Attorney's Office, prosecuting crimes involving domestic violence, sexual assault, and human trafficking. This experience deepened my understanding of the profound impact these issues have on families and communities, while strengthening my courtroom advocacy skills.

I am thrilled to have returned to Bull & Reinhardt in March 2025, where I continue to help clients with family law matters, estate planning, estate administration, traffic matters, misdemeanor charges, and domestic assault cases.

Legal Expertise

My practice focuses on guiding clients through life's most significant challenges and transitions:

  • Family Law: Divorce, child custody, support matters, domestic violence protection
  • Estate Planning: Wills, trusts, powers of attorney, advance directives
  • Estate Administration: Probate, asset distribution, executor assistance
  • Traffic: Traffic violations and related legal matters
  • Misdemeanor Charges: Defense for a variety of misdemeanor criminal offenses
  • Domestic Assaults: Legal representation in domestic assault cases
Community Involvement

I believe in giving back to our community. My service includes:

  • Girl Scouts Gold Award recipient (equivalent to Eagle Scout) with over 80 hours of community service
  • Volunteer with Fayetteville Police Department
  • Tsunami Relief Worker in Thailand
  • Volunteer with Wills for Heroes program
  • Pro Bono work through 4ALL in Western North Carolina
Why Choose Me As Your Attorney

I understand that legal issues involving your family or future planning are deeply personal. My background in creative writing, coupled with extensive courtroom experience in both family law and criminal prosecution, allows me to approach each case with a unique blend of compassion, creativity, and strategic advocacy.

I take pride in treating each client with the dignity and respect that all human beings deserve. Having experienced frequent relocations during my military family upbringing, I understand the importance of stability and clear guidance during periods of change. I strive to meet people where they are in life and equip them with the knowledge needed to navigate the legal system with confidence.

My commitment is to make complex legal matters accessible to my clients, ensuring you understand your options and can make informed decisions during challenging times.
