During his time as a prosecutor, he handled both misdemeanor and felony cases across a seven-county district in Eastern North Carolina, gaining invaluable courtroom and trial experience that continues to benefit his clients today.

Throughout his career, Doug has represented thousands of injured clients in negotiations, mediations, arbitrations, and jury trials. He has served as an arbitrator in numerous insurance disputes and was selected to represent the plaintiffs' bar on the Mecklenburg County District Court Rules Committee.
