Overview

Kyle Kilian is from Tatamy, Pennsylvania and is a graduate of Pennsylvania State University where he earned a B.S. degree in Administration of Justice and Sociology. He then attended the University of Memphis, School of Law graduating with a J.D. in 2002. In 2003, he began his career as an active-duty lawyer, or Judge Advocate, in the United States Marine Corps where he served for over 22 years.

As a Judge Advocate, he gained experience in numerous practice areas including criminal litigation and investigations, criminal appellate practice, regulatory compliance, wills and estates, employment law, administrative law, national security law, and fiscal law. In addition to being an attorney, Mr. Kilian was also a Commanding Officer and held various executive leadership roles, gaining diverse experience in talent management, project management, and security operations. He retired from the Marine Corps in 2025 as a Colonel.

In October 2025, Mr. Kilian joined Mewborn & DeSelms, Attorneys at Law where his practice areas include civil litigation, residential and commercial real estate, wills and estates and personal injury.
