While employed in both district attorney's offices, Kerri was invited to teach classes in the area of domestic violence, sex crimes and juvenile law to law enforcement officers. She was also an adjunct professor for the Charlotte School of Law, Wingate University, and South Piedmont Community College in the areas of domestic violence, criminal law, and ethics.
