William Decker (Bill) is a seasoned trial lawyer who has litigated complex civil disputes in Michigan for over 35 years. Bill became licensed in North Carolina in 2021, culminating in his lifelong dream to move to Western North Carolina. Bill loves the mountains, hiking, motorcycling and golfing.
For decades, Bill has been a leader in the fight against abusive practices of insurance companies when denying claims of their own customers. His practice also involved diverse issues of real estate and construction disputes; will caveats; contract disputes and a host of others. He has been recognized by his peers as a "Super Lawyer," and has taught litigation skills to hundreds of lawyers at state and national seminars.
However, Bill's greatest achievement has been raising his son Adam, who is a successful attorney in Chicago. Adam graduated Summa Cum Laude and has been recognized nationally as a "Rising Star." Bill is most definitely a "proud poppa."
