Overview

Matt is a business and real estate attorney in our Fargo office. His practice focuses on real estate and business transactions, corporate law and secured financing. Matt advises clients relating to all aspects of their businesses, including formations, governance, mergers and acquisitions, and contract review. Matt’s real estate practice includes purchase and sale transactions, commercial leasing, and advising borrowers and lenders in connection with commercial financing.

Matt graduated first in his class from Hamline University School of Law in St. Paul, Minnesota, where he was a Managing Editor of the Hamline Law Review, as well as the winner of a national championship in the Judge John R. Brown Admiralty Moot Court Competition. While in law school, Matt interned for the Honorable Mary A. Yunker, Tenth Judicial District of Minnesota, and externed for the Honorable Paul A. Magnuson, United States District Court for the District of Minnesota. Matt received his undergraduate degree from Luther College in Decorah, Iowa.

Matt and his family live in Fargo. In his spare time, he enjoys playing hockey, running, swimming, hunting, and fantasy football.
