Overview

Mike Miller joined the Solberg Stewart Miller law firm in 1977 after graduating from the University of North Dakota. He is licensed to practice in all courts in North Dakota, the Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals, and the United States Supreme Court.

Mike has been honored as a Super Lawyers® for more than ten years in a row.

Mike's practice includes mass tort litigation, wrongful death, and serious personal injury cases. He currently represents clients in numerous pharmaceutical and defective medical device cases. Mike represents people injured by bad drugs such as Zantac and Talc baby powder cases.

He previously represented hundreds of people who settled or litigated Fen-Phen claims, hormone replacement drug cases, and pelvic mesh cases. He also represents people who have received defective medical products such as hernia mesh.

Mike was lead counsel in a case regarding the largest train accident in North Dakota, representing over 1,000 people who were seriously injured when a Canadian Pacific Railroad train derailed in Minot, North Dakota spilling anhydrous ammonia.

Mike was also the lead attorney on the class action settlement with Canadian Pacific after the derailment.

Mike is married to Jill Miller and has one daughter, two sons, and one granddaughter. He enjoys spending time with his family. He is an avid fisherman and enjoys fishing and hunting in North Dakota and Minnesota. Mike and Jill spend their spare time at Big Pine Lake, near Perham Minnesota.
