While in law school, Nick earned a Business Law Concentration and was involved with Moot Court, including being selected to represent the University of Minnesota as a member of the National Moot Court Competition Team his 3L year. Nick also gained valuable experience during law school as a judicial extern in Ramsey County (MN) District Court and law clerk at a Twin Cities law firm.

A native of southwestern Minnesota, Nick enjoys hunting, hiking, and outdoor activities. In his free time, he enjoys being outdoors and spending time with his wife, Ashley, and their Springer Spaniel.
