Overview
Tressie grew up in Minot, North Dakota. She moved to Grand Forks, North Dakota in 1999 and attended the University of North Dakota. She graduated Summa Cum Laude and received a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in 2003. Tressie continued her education and graduated from the University of North Dakota School of Law with distinction in 2006.
Tressie started her legal career as an associate attorney for a small law firm in Grand Forks, North Dakota before moving to Fargo, North Dakota in 2008 where she worked as an associate attorney for Birrenkott Law Office through September of 2010. Tressie then opened Brazil Law Office, PLLC at that time.
Tressie has been practicing law in North Dakota since 2006 and in Minnesota since 2012. She is a member of the North Dakota State Bar Association, the Minnesota Bar Association, and the Cass County Bar Association. Tressie is also a volunteer attorney for Legal Services of Northwest Minnesota where she provides legal services on a reduced fee basis.
