John D. Clark - Canton, OH

John D. Clark is a director. His practice generally focuses in the areas of estate planning, probate, elder law, and business law. John is a certified specialist in Estate Planning, Trust and Probate Law by the Ohio State Bar Association.

The North Canton native received his B.A., magna cum laude, from Kenyon College and his Juris Doctorate from Emory University where he was a member of the Emory Law Journal. His work experience includes internships with BellSouth, CNBC, the Internal Revenue Service, and the Federal Trade Commission.

John is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association and the Stark County Bar Association where he is a member of the Elder Law and Probate Committees. He is a lecturer for the Ohio State Bar Association and Area Agency on Aging on estate planning and probate topics. He was awarded recognition as one of The Best Lawyers in America through a prestigious peer review study. John has been named one of Ohio Rising Stars (2006-2009) by Cincinnati Magazine and Ohio Super Lawyers – Rising Stars Edition and superlawyers.com.

John is a graduate of Leadership Stark County and is committed to supporting charitable organizations. He is a board member and Strong Kids Campaign Chairperson for the Paul & Carol David YMCA, where in year 2007, he was named one of the volunteers of the year. Also, he has been a member of the North Canton Rotary since 2003. John, his wife, Georgeann, and their children Amelia and Grant are active in the Faith United Methodist Church. John and his family also enjoy spending weekends in Lakeside, Ohio.
