Overview
Josh Falkiewicz is an Associate with Wood, Herron & Evans and is part of the Electrical and Software practice group. Josh counsels clients on all aspects of intellectual property law, with a primary focus on patent matters including the preparation and prosecution of domestic and international patents. Josh has drafted over 250 patent applications relating to a wide range of technology areas, including artificial intelligence and machine learning, telecommunications, network routing, control systems, blockchain, cloud computing, printed circuit boards, and the like.
Prior to joining Wood Herron & Evans, Josh worked for four years as an Associate at private practice law firms in Washington D.C. and Michigan.
Josh received a bachelor’s degree in computer science from Wayne State and a bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Michigan State. He earned his J.D. from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law, where he served as president of the Intellectual Property Law Society.
