Overview
Lori Krafte counsels clients in all areas of advertising, trademarks, copyrights, and privacy. She teaches Advertising Law and Trademark Law at the University of Cincinnati College of Law, where she helped launch and was the first Trademark Co-Director of the pro bono Patent and Trademark Clinic, received the University’s Outstanding Adjunct Faculty Award, and twice received the College of Law’s Adjunct Faculty Teaching Excellence Award. Lori has been selected for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America®, Ohio Super Lawyers, Cincy Leading Lawyers, Chambers USA, IP Stars, and World Trademark Review Top 1000. It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:
- Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
- Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
- Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
