Overview
Scott is part of the Mechanical & Aerospace practice group at Wood, Herron & Evans. He counsels clients on all aspects of intellectual property law, and primarily focuses on patent matters including U.S., international, and foreign patent preparation and prosecution, as well as patentability, infringement, and clearance investigations. In addition, he counsels clients on strategic plans for enforcing and defending patent and trademark rights. Scott has experience in a variety of industries and technology areas, including medical devices, oil and gas production, firearms and optics, aerospace components, molded containers, and various types of consumer products. Scott also has experience filing design applications and counseling clients on maximizing intellectual property coverage in a cost-efficient and business-goal-oriented manner.
