Attorney Information
Overview
Thomas decided to pursue a career in law at a young age and never changed his mind. Always the one to get straight to the issues and stick to the point, Thomas has a longstanding passion for advocacy and argument. His knack for dispensing with the distractions and getting to the heart of the matter served him greatly in his personal life, academic career, and now his professional career as a litigator.
Thomas has a strong work ethic, having an unbroken resume beginning at age 14 at Giant Eagle and so on. All these childhood jobs, combined with profound life experiences including missionary work in Kenya, have given Thomas a unique and insightful perspective that continues to be one of his most valuable assets.
While pursuing his Bachelor of Arts in Law at the University of Arizona, and with some extra time on his hands during the COVID pandemic, Thomas earned his Paralegal II certification while in college. This opened up doors allowing Thomas to work for firms practicing a wide range of practice areas - from immigration to personal injury - all before even applying to law school. This early experience and demonstrable passion earned Thomas a spot and a scholarship at the University of Cincinnati College of Law.
At UC Law, Thomas had the privilege of meeting Rick DeBlasis at a firm expo held at the school. While Rick was not there to hire anyone, the two hit it off and Rick brought Thomas on as a law clerk in 2024. After a remarkably successful run as a law clerk, and after Thomas passed the Bar with outstanding results, Rick hired Thomas as a full-time attorney in November 2025. With particularly honed research and writing skills, Thomas has distinguished himself in cases ranging from foreclosures, creditor rights, consumer rights, and more.
When he is not lawyering, Thomas enjoys reading about history, playing chess and golf, and taking his dog on hikes with his fiancée. If you are looking for a hardworking and driven attorney to solve your legal problems, Thomas is your man.

How do I choose a lawyer?
Consider the following:
- Comfort Level – Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?
- Credentials – How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?
- Cost – How are the lawyer's fees structured — hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?
- City – Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?
Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?
Here are a few to get you started:
- How long have you been in practice?
- How many cases like mine have you handled?
- How often do you settle cases out of court?
- What are your fees and costs?
- What are the next steps?
Want to check lawyer discipline?
It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:
- Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
- Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
- Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
