Overview

Eric is a shareholder and member of Cavitch’s corporate practice, concentrating on corporate, financing, and real estate transactions. As part of this practice, he represents strategic buyers and sellers in mergers and acquisitions, primarily in the middle market. Eric is part of a team of Cavitch Lawyers that act as general counsel on a wide variety of business matters, including business formation and structuring, commercial lease agreements, loan agreements and employment agreements.

Eric earned his J.D. and M.B.A. degrees from the University of Akron School of Law and College of Business Administration, respectively. He was also the recipient of a CALI Excellence for the Future Award for Constitutional Law I. While at Akron Law, Eric worked in the Legal Clinic and worked on appellate briefs and other documents that were ultimately filed in various courts including the Ohio Supreme Court, the Ohio Ninth District Court of Appeals, and the U.S. Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals. While working in the Clinic, Eric would also make weekly visits to the Summit or Mahoning County jails as part of the Inmate Assistance Program.
