Overview
Romney Cullers is an experienced trial lawyer, trying complex cases in Ohio for over 25 years. He has obtained numerous multi-million dollar verdicts and settlements, including many on behalf of the families of children catastrophically injured during childbirth. In 2016, he obtained a settlement of $60,700,000.00 on behalf of a 16-year-old girl severely injured by a down power line. It is the largest settlement in Ohio history for injuries to an individual plaintiff.
Romney is a former president of the Cleveland Academy of Trial attorneys and is presently a Master Bencher in the Judge John M. Manos Inn of Court.
Romney is also a professor of law at Case Western Reserve University in the nationally-recognized Health Law Program. Over the 20 years that Romney has held academic appointments at Case Law School, he has taught courses in Medical Malpractice, Trial Tactics, and Appellate Advocacy.
Romney is a frequent speaker at continuing legal education seminars for attorneys, lecturing on legal topics relating to trial strategy, including cross examination of experts and use of demonstrative evidence in the courtroom.
Romney is recognized by his peers as a leader in the field, having represented the friends and families of judges, attorneys, law professors and physicians. He was born and raised in a small farming community in southwest Missouri. Romney worked his way through college and law school. He understands the value of hard work and appreciates the privilege of speaking up for those who have endured hardships.
