Overview
Donnell Much (“Don”) is a Senior Attorney with the Firm. He focuses his practice on securities arbitration litigation, general complex litigation, and state and federal court securities litigation.
Before joining Meyer Wilson Werning, Mr. Much worked as Senior Counsel at two major independent broker dealers serving in both litigation and regulatory roles. Previously, Mr. Much worked as a Senior Associate Attorney at a prestigious, boutique law firm in New York City focusing his practice on securities litigation where he handled general and complex commercial litigation; securities arbitration cases filing suit against stockbrokers, broker-dealers, investment advisers, and Investment Adviser Representatives (“IARs”); and Plaintiff side state and federal court Ponzi scheme litigation. Mr. Much has also worked as a Securities Litigation Associate Attorney in the Securities Department of a large, national law firm in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania where he litigated state and federal securities cases and investigated public companies for violations of Section 11 of the Securities Act and Section 10 of the Securities Exchange Act. In addition, Mr. Much has worked at a highly reputable, full-service law firm in Devon, Pennsylvania. Mr. Much has been named a 2019 – 2020 and a 2020 – 2021 Pennsylvania “Rising Star” attorney in the area of securities litigation by Super Lawyers/Rising Stars, an attorney-rating service of Thomson Reuters.
Mr. Much is a 2014 graduate with Distinction of the Georgetown University Law Center’s LLM program, where he concentrated in Securities Regulation. While at Georgetown, Mr. Much worked as an intern at the U.S. Securities & Exchange Commission (“SEC”) in the Division of Enforcement – Market Abuse Unit and in the Division of Trading & Markets. While at Georgetown, Mr. Much also interned at the Commodities Futures Trading Commission (“CFTC”) in the Office of the General Counsel. Mr. Much is a 2008 graduate of Loyola New Orleans College of Law in New Orleans, Louisiana. Prior to attending law school, Mr. Much received his MBA from Saint Joseph’s University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania where he concentrated in financial statement analysis. Prior to attending law school, Mr. Much worked as a Senior Consultant for a “big-four” accounting firm focusing his consulting practice in the areas of alternative funds and mutual funds. Mr. Much is a 2003 graduate of the University of Vermont, where he received his Bachelor of Arts degree.
Mr. Much is a member of the Delaware County Bar Association and the Delaware County Inn of Court.
Mr. Much is also a certified Sommelier by the Wine School of Philadelphia.
