Attorney Information
Overview
Hannah was born and raised in Columbus, Ohio. She first felt called to pursue the practice of law as a teenager after witnessing her parents spend years and many thousands of dollars dealing with legal matters. This difficult experience inspired her to become a resource for other families struggling to navigate the complicated realities of the legal system in Ohio.
At seventeen, Hannah joined the United States’ ARMY Reserve Officer Training Corps to serve her country and have the opportunity to attend Capital University. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree with honors in 2006, and double majored in both Sociology and Criminology, and minored in Military Science.
Hannah went on to attend Capital University Law School and while taking classes, she signed up for the Adoption Legal Clinic, Foster Youth Legal Clinic, Veteran’s Wills Clinic and Family Advocacy Legal Clinic and spent more than 200 pro bono hours honing her craft working directly with clients in preparation for her future legal career.
She received her Juris Doctorate degree in 2013. Later that same year, she took and passed the Ohio State Bar Exam and was issued her license to practice law by the Supreme Court of the State of Ohio.
In recent years, Hannah has been recognized for her hard work and dedication to the practice of law receiving Capital University Law School’s “Graduate of the Last Decade Award”, Capital University’s “Distinguished Young Alumnus Award”, and the Legal Aid Society of Columbus’ “Expanding Our Impact Pro Bono Award”.
Today, Hannah owns and operates Hannah’s Legal Help, providing personal and affordable 'Legal Help with Heart.' She focuses her practice on helping clients with uncontested legal matters and offers flat fees with payment plans for those in need.

How do I choose a lawyer?
Consider the following:
- Comfort Level – Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?
- Credentials – How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?
- Cost – How are the lawyer's fees structured — hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?
- City – Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?
Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?
Here are a few to get you started:
- How long have you been in practice?
- How many cases like mine have you handled?
- How often do you settle cases out of court?
- What are your fees and costs?
- What are the next steps?
Want to check lawyer discipline?
It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:
- Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
- Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
- Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
