Overview
Ryan was born and raised in Cambridge, Ohio and graduated from Cambridge High School. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from The Ohio State University in 1994. Ryan then attended and graduated from Capital University in 1997 with his Juris Doctorate. Ryan studied abroad for a summer through the College of William and Mary in London and Exeter, England.
He was admitted to the Ohio Bar in 1997 and then opened his own law practice. Mr. Scott's practice focuses primarily on family law related issues such as: divorce, dissolution, legal separation, annulment, parental rights and responsibilities, custody, child support, unmarried custody cases and juvenile related matters. A large percentage of his practice is dedicated to Guardian Ad Litem work and helping families in Frankin and Delaware Counties. He has been practicing family law for over 28 years and has extensive experience in the area.
Ryan has two adult children of his own. The oldest is a graduate of The Ohio State University and his youngest attends Ohio University. He enjoys spending time with family and friends, Ohio State football and traveling to new destinations.
