Overview
Howard P Krisher currently serves as “of counsel” to the firm after 50 years of affiliation, first as an associate attorney and, later, as a partner for 45 years. Throughout his career, while Howard primarily devoted his practice to the defense of medical malpractice claims filed against doctors and hospitals, Howard also has defended numerous cases involving insurance claims, product and police liability, commercial disputes and all types of personal injury claims. Howard is known for his zealous courtroom advocacy, his high ethical standards and his sincere concern for and devotion to his clients.
Howard was born in Dayton, Ohio and attended the Dayton Public schools. He attended Princeton University from which he graduated Magna Cum Laude in 1969. Howard graduated Cum Laude from the Ohio State College of Law in 1974 and was a member of Ohio State’s National Moot Court Team. Howard began his 50-year career with the firm in December of 1974. During his five decades of practice, Howard has been recognized by the publication Best Lawyers in America for more than 25 years and has repeatedly been recognized as an Ohio “Super Lawyer”. The highest honor of Howard’s professional career occurred in 2012 when he was inducted into the American College of Trial lawyers in New York City. The American College limits its membership to no more than one percent of the trial lawyers in any given state and is by invitation only after candidates are subjected to a thorough investigation.
Howard has been a member of the Montgomery County and Ohio State Bar Associations throughout his career. He is the father of three children, two of whom have followed his footsteps and are also attorneys. He is a former Trustee of the Victoria Theatre Association and also served on Sinclair College’s Paralegal Advisory Committee. Howard’s senior thesis at Princeton on “Fear Provoking Recommendations” was later published with Howard named as the lead author in the Journal of Personality and Social Psychology, 1973, Vol. 26, No.2, 301-308.
