Julia Caple was raised in Lee, New Hampshire and attended school in South Berwick, Maine. She attended Ohio Wesleyan University where she graduated Magna Cum Laude and received the honor of entrance in Ohio Wesleyan’s chapter of Phi Beta Kappa.
