Inspired to Help Injured Ohioans Through a Career in Injury Law

Anthony “Scott” Farren is an Associate Attorney at NRS Injury Law, focusing on personal injury law. Scott has decades of experience in Ohio personal injury law and has successfully argued cases at the Eighth District Court of Appeals. Committed to advocating for people who have been wrongfully injured, Scott commits to his cases and does not let up until his clients achieve victory.

A Lifetime Dedicated to Representing Victims of Wrongful Injury

Scott grew up in Medina County, where he began working in the trades as soon as he entered high school. During summer break, Scott painted houses, churches, and fences, quickly learning the value of hard work and a job well done. He played three sports during the school year, graduated in 1988, and went to Bowling Green State University, where he worked in the cafeteria during the school year and at the Medina County Fairgrounds during summer.

“I like to say I ‘bring the news,’” says Scott, reflecting on the life experiences that shaped his approach to the legal profession. “I’ve always had a very straightforward, tactical, detail-focused approach to my work, which gives me the tools I need to represent my clients effectively in their personal injury cases.” Scott added that his early years in the trades and working-class roles gave him an appreciation for everyday Ohioans, a worldview that Scott holds to this day when working with injured people who are up against powerful insurance companies.

Building Foundations for Winning Cases with Communication, Honesty, and Strategy

Scott has won countless personal injury cases throughout his several decades in the legal profession, all the while honing his knack for communication, strategy, case-building, and a matter-of-fact, straight-shooting approach to the practice that puts his clients at ease and makes it easier for them to understand the nuances of Ohio personal injury law.

“My own abilities are magnified tenfold thanks to working at NRS Injury Law,” Scott added, pointing out that the most effective attorneys are those who are backed by a stellar firm. “The attorneys at this firm have paralegals, case managers, and assistants supporting them, and with the team support, resources, and our ability to get our questions answered and collaborate with other attorneys, plus the sheer commitment everyone at the firm has to zealous client advocacy, all of that combined leads to a firm where each attorney is able to leverage their own unique talents to the absolute max.”

Work/Life Balance

Born in Cleveland, raised in Medina County, and now back in the Cleveland area (Broadview Heights), Scott is an Ohio family man at heart. As his children love music, Scott spends his downtime going to concerts with his kids and listening to music at home. “I like to support my kids’ music interests, and of course, I’m a sports fan loyal to the Cavs, Browns, and Guardians,” Scott says. “My wife and I travel when we can, and I’ll never say no to a few rounds of golf on the weekends.”

Don’t Wait to Seek Legal Help from Anthony Scott Farren

“NRS Injury Law provides impeccable service,” Scott said in closing, reflecting on why he accepted a position at the firm. “The firm is consistent, and they put communication with the client as a top priority, which means the client is fully brought in and made a member of the team for the duration of their case. NRS Injury Law makes clients feel like they haven’t been abandoned.”

Committed to helping people who don’t have the resources or legal knowledge to advocate for themselves, Scott’s values and integrity align perfectly with NRS Injury Law’s mission to: “Provide empathetic and patient service to every person who calls the firm, and to relentlessly pursue the best possible outcome on behalf of every client by putting collective experience, knowledge, and passion to work every day.” To retain an effective legal team with a proven track record and to speak with Scott and the firm about your case, call 855-468-4878 or fill out a convenient online contact form.

Community Impact

Dedicated to advocating for people who’ve been wrongfully injured, Scott understands the value of helping others and supporting his fellow community members. Throughout their sons’ upbringing, Scott and his wife took their children to food banks to show them the meaning of service. Scott also coached high school basketball while working on his undergrad.

When viewing a listing, consider the state advertising restrictions to which lawyers and law firms must adhere, as well as our FindLaw.com Legal Directory disclaimer. Some lawyers publish comparative information regarding the services that they provide which may be subject to specific comparative communications restrictions.

How do I choose a lawyer?

Consider the following:

  • Comfort Level – Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?
  • Credentials – How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?
  • Cost – How are the lawyer's fees structured — hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?
  • City – Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?

Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?

Here are a few to get you started:

  • How long have you been in practice?
  • How many cases like mine have you handled?
  • How often do you settle cases out of court?
  • What are your fees and costs?
  • What are the next steps?

Want to check lawyer discipline?

It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:

  • Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
  • Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
  • Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
