Delaney Barr-Brown - Hilliard, OH

Delaney Barr-Brown is a managing attorney at The Friedmann Firm, LLC. Delaney is licensed to practice law in the State of Ohio and earned her Juris Doctor from the George Washington University Law School, where she graduated with honors.

Before attending law school, Delaney received her Bachelor’s Degree in International Studies, with a focus on Spanish and Europe, from Butler University.

During her time at GW, Delaney was on the International Law Review journal, was a student attorney in the Landlord-Tenant clinic that served tenants in eviction court, and was a member of the law school’s theater group “Law Revue” for all three years.

Delaney also interned with the Family and Mental Health Judge at the D.C. Superior Court, summered at Cohen and Cohen personal injury firm, and clerked for two judges in the Superior Court of the Virgin Islands after graduating from GW. Prior to joining the Friedmann Firm, LLC, Delaney advocated for marginalized communities while at Equality Ohio and the Ohio Justice Bus.

Delaney is licensed to practice law in The United States District Courts for the Northern and Southern Districts of Ohio.

Delaney is a member of the following organizations and bar associations: Columbus Bar Association, Ohio Employment Lawyers Association, and the Ohio State Bar Association.

In 2025, Delaney spearheaded a severe sexual harassment case which resulted in a $500,000 settlement at mediation.

Delaney zealously advocates for clients in a variety of employment disputes ranging from breach of contract claims to discrimination claims. Delaney approaches her cases with a healthy sense of urgency while being compassionate, thoughtful, present, and positive through her trauma-responsive lawyering approach.
