Truman is a Columbus, Ohio native. During his time at Capital Law School, Truman was awarded the CALI Excellence for the Future Award in Employment Law and earned the Floyd D. Weatherspoon Award for Employment Discrimination & Labor Law. Truman also served as President of the Capital Law ACLU Chapter. Outside of his studies, he trained as a Law Clerk in litigating employment law, civil rights, and personal injury matters.
Before attending law school, Truman received his bachelor’s degree from Ohio Wesleyan University and spent time working abroad in Nayarit, Mexico. He speaks English, Spanish, and Brazilian Portuguese. In his down time, he enjoys spending time with his fiancé Maria and backcountry backpacking.
